  3. Trace one simple data path. Document a user, identity, storage location, application, logging, and access boundary. You do not need to deploy a model to learn the operational shape.
  4. Practice shared-responsibility decisions. For each service, write down what AWS manages and what the customer configures.
  5. Connect the concepts to your current role. Map endpoint identity, DNS, proxying, certificates, conditional access, and incident evidence to their cloud counterparts.
  6. Choose the next credential by job target. Move toward security, operations, data, or AI development only after identifying the work you actually want to perform.

It is also useful for career switchers who need a structured introduction and an externally verifiable learning milestone.

Skip it if you already operate AWS workloads daily and need a role-specific signal. In that case, deeper security, operations, data, developer, or machine-learning preparation will produce more relevant evidence. Also skip it if your only goal is prompt writing; the exam will not validate that skill.
