Cookie Policy
Effective date: October 2026
Last updated: October 20, 2026
This policy lists every cookie and browser-storage item that zakitpro.com sets, why, and how to control them. Cookies are small text files a site stores in your browser. For how we handle personal information generally, see the Privacy Policy.
1. Cookies and storage we use
| Name | Provider / type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga | Google Analytics 4, first-party cookie | Analytics: distinguishes visitors with a random ID | 2 years |
_ga_97VHL9PZPG | Google Analytics 4, first-party cookie | Analytics: keeps session state for this site's GA4 property | 2 years |
ai_toolkit_access | zakitpro.com, first-party cookie (HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite=Lax) | Strictly necessary for the download you requested: set only after you sign up for a free download, value granted, no personal information, lets the site serve the lead-magnet PDFs | 30 days |
zakitpro-consent | zakitpro.com, browser local storage (not a cookie) | Strictly necessary: remembers whether you accepted or rejected analytics cookies | Until you clear site data |
zakitpro-theme | zakitpro.com, browser local storage (not a cookie) | Functional: remembers your light or dark theme. Never sent to us. | Until you clear site data |
Durations for the GA cookies are Google's defaults. In the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland the GA cookies are only set after you accept analytics in the cookie banner. The site's tag does not enable Google Signals or ad personalization, so it is not configured to set advertising cookies. The site does not use Stripe, MailerLite or other third-party cookies on its own pages. Stripe sets its own cookies on its hosted checkout page, and Amazon sets cookies on its site if you click an affiliate link; those are governed by their policies. Free download emails contain a signed link that works without the cookie.
2. When cookies are set
Google Analytics loads on every page when the page loads. If you visit from the EU, EEA, UK or Switzerland, a cookie banner asks first: Google Analytics runs in Google Consent Mode v2 with analytics and advertising storage denied by default, and no GA cookies are set unless you click Accept. Elsewhere, GA4 runs by default and you can opt out at any time. Your choice is stored in your browser's local storage under zakitpro-consent until you clear site data. To change it, use "Cookie settings" in the footer. The site does not respond to "Do Not Track" or Global Privacy Control signals.
3. How to control cookies
- Use "Cookie settings" in the footer and choose Reject.
- Install Google's Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use a tracker-blocking browser or extension. The site works without analytics cookies.
- Deleting
ai_toolkit_accessmeans you will need the link in your email, or to sign up again, to download free PDFs.
4. Changes
If the cookies we use change, we will update this table and the "Last updated" date above.
